Biography

He started cycling thanks to his father, José, a cycloturist who always took him to see the races of the towns near Argamasilla. He started as a second year cadet at the Tomelloso Cycling Club, where he raced the last seven races of the season.

The following year he decided to definitely change football for cycling and signed up for Fenavin CC in Ciudad Real. He spent his second junior year at Castillo de Onda CC and continued at Infisport Team, from where he arrived to the Alberto Contador Foundation.

He is a rider who stands out for his regularity and his good performance in stage races. Isaac adapts himself to all types of terrain and is also a good time trialist. He has spent the first two seasons as U23 in Gorka Beloki’s Infisport and this year has fulfilled his dream of passing professionals at Polartec-Kometa. In 2016 he got the U23 National Championship.

He was born in Manzanares and lives in Argamasilla de Alba (Ciudad Real). He is the second of three brothers (Fabián and Eleazar). He has finished the first High School cycle and has a Medium Degree in Gastronomy.
