Kevin Inkelaar

Biography

At 12 years old he started cycling at PRC Delta, Spijkenisse, near Rotterdam. There he spent 4 years before emigrating to Belgian cycling, in the ranks of the Avia Crabbe Westhoek, where he spent a season. His two years as a junior were spent in the Avia CyclingTeam. His first two seasons as U23 has been on the Lotto-Soudal development team.

His best performance to date has been the Giro d’Aosta last year, one of the most important stage races for young climbers. He finished eleventh overall, although until the last stage he managed to keep in the top-ten.

He is a climber and likes to fight for general classifications, but especially for mountain stages. This year has achieved the dream of becoming professional and aspires to ride the three big Tours, for their history.

Kevin has finished his studies in Marketing and Communication and this season will be dedicated exclusively to cycling.
