Michelle Gazzoli

Biography

At three years old he already knew how to ride a bike and at 7 he started at the Otelli cycling school in Brescia, where he has stayed throughout all his training period, led by Gian Carlo Otelli, who has taught him everything he knows.

His love for the bike comes from his maternal grandfather, Giovanni, who has transmitted his passion for cycling, since he ran as an amateur. Michele is the youngest of the family, has a brother and sister older than him.

For Michele his most important achievements are having run with the Nazionale Azzurra and having won the European Championship, as well as the bronze medal in the last World Championship. Throughout his still short career, Michele already accumulates 160 victories in his record, a number that says everything about his quality as a cyclist, as well as having gone directly to professional from the junior category.

Gazzoli is considered a sprinter who gives the best after hard races, as he also goes well in the climbs. The races he dreams about are Milano-San Remo and Paris-Roubaix, the two Monuments that he would like to win in the future.

He is in the last year of the Lyceum and believes that it will be difficult for him to continue studying in the future, because he wants to take the opportunity to become a professional cyclist. Anyway, he would like to study Sports Science to become a coach one day.
