Biography

He started riding a bike at 11 years old and two years later started to compete in the Union Club Raiffaisen Radteam Tyrol, where he was until his second junior year. From there he went to the Tirol Cycling Team for two seasons, before arriving at the Alberto Contador Foundation.

He lives in Muenster, and is the oldest of three brothers (Mario and Florian, twins), who are also cyclists and run in the Tirol Cycling Team. His father, Manfred, cycloturist, is responsible for having them all in cycling.

Patrick says that the best thing that has happened to him so far was to take the yellow jersey in the 2017 Tour de l’Avenir for 3 days. He is a time trialist and a classics rider, a rouleur. Running some day Flanders and Roubaix is his dream as a professional.

In 2016 he finished High School and now is focused on being professional. In the future he would like to study Sports Sciences.
